De retour aux Etats-Unis pour reprendre les tournages et les shows , Katsuni ayant fait récemment le choix de quitter la société de production américaine Digital Playground dont elle était contract girl, était présente à remise des prix des AVN awards qui ont eu lieu Samedi 8 Janvier à l'hôtel casino Palms. Elle a ainsi parcouru le tapis rouge au bras de l'acteur le plus reconnu actuellement aux USA, le Français Manuel Ferrara, plusieurs fois nommé Meilleur Hardeur Américain. Moins présente dans le X business US en 2010 (et étant plus active pour le lancement de sa ligne de lingerie Petit Coeur et des tournées de shows et salons érotiques à travers le monde) , Katsuni n'a donc cette année pas été souvent citée dans les nominations de la fameuse cérémonie des AVN awards . Une seule  nomination: celle de Meilleure Scène de Groupe pour sa prestation dans la dernière mega-production de Digital Playground, Body Heat. Au final la scène remporte non seulement les suffrages mais elle remporte aussi le vote des fans pour le prix de « Wildest sex scene of the year » . C'est donc avec 2 AVN awards que Katsuni repart de Las Vegas!

Désormais de retour sur le marché des tournages X , Katsuni est à nouveau libre de tourner pour toutes les compagnies. Elle a ce mois-ci tourné pour Manuel Ferrara (Evil Angel), Kelly Madison, Nica Noelle (Girlfriends), Elegant Angel, posé pour la célèbre photographe de charme Holly Randall..s'apprête à jouer dans un feature  (film à scénario , pour la société Girlfriends) écrit pour elle aux côtés du « Best Male Performer of the Year » américain Evan Stone et de la star du X Amy Fisher. Back in the United States to perform in new scenes and feature-dance (Dreamgirls, Seattle) ,  Katsuni , who recently made the choice to leave the American adult company Digital Playground who had signed her as a contract star, was present at the AVN Awards that was hold  on Saturday January  8th at the Palms Casino Resort . She went on the red carpet  with the  most recognized male performer in the U.S., French  performer ,producer and director Manuel Ferrara, many times named Best Male Performer. Less  active in the  US  porn business in 2010 (and being more focused  launching her lingerie line Petit Coeur and feature-dancing at adult conventions all over the world ), Katsuni got his year only one nomination for »Best All-girls  Group  Sex Scene » for her performance in the last mega-production of Digital Playground, Body Heat. One nomination, one award, and fans  also  gave their votes to this scene as « Widlest Sex scene of the Year »….so this is how Katsuni came back from Vegas with…2 awards!
